Hello. I am Goldom, and use that name most everywhere, so if you see another Goldom around someplace, it is most likely me. I am now an administrator on Wikipedia, so feel free to leave me a message about anything you need, (admin or otherwise) on my talk page, or send me an email with the link on the left. Note: my mail service sometimes automatically thinks Wiki-sent email is junk, so please leave the subject as the default so that I don't miss it in the junk folder. (Update: It appears that maybe it only does so when the subject is the default. Even so, do include Wiki or something I'll notice in the title, cause I get a lot of junk in both folders.)

Why have I deleted your page / not deleted something you marked as a speedy delete? The answer to both these can probably be found in WP:CSD. Please note, a subject being non-notable is not a criteria to speedily delete. Only the lack of any assertion they are notable is one. What qualifies as an assertion is subjective, for the most part, so as an admin when I check a page tagged for deletion, I'll either delete it if I feel it qualifies, or remove the speedy if it does not. If the subject clearly is not notable, despite an assertion, I may change the tag to a WP:PROD.

Some of my more major editing work includes:

  • Massive spelling corrections, doing WP:TYPO work, from June 28th to 30th, using the list at common misspellings with the internal search engine. Over these three days, I have fixed about 1,250 spelling errors, not to mention doing lots of other cleanup work on the pages along the way. No, I'm not a bot, just insane.
  • Earth Girl Arjuna has recieved a complete rewrite, my largest edit yet. Took about 4 hours, including doing outside research (not original research!) Longer if you wanna count watching the show as working on it :P. It sorely needed it, and I think it's a pretty decent article now.
  • Extensive work on MoS:DAB compliance. Been doing this for a while, I've done enough now that combined, they are a noteworthy contribution. See section below (on /work page) for a list of individual pages fixed.
  • CaptionMax (created)
  • Trouble Chocolate (rewrote all information, added cast list)
  • PEG Link (created)
  • Physics card (created)
  • Template:The Beatles Singles and Template:The Beatles B-sides (now merged) (probably most difficult page I've ever made - researching what to include and modifying all the pages necessary, not to mention learning how to create templates, took the better part of an evening)
