Talk:Golden Whistler

I removed the picture, because I can't find a picture that is legal to use, and I'm not going to go through the trouble of figuring out how to contact some guy in australia just so I can ask him if we can use the picture. Even if I did, I would have no clue how to make his permission legal. Would I need him to sign something? I don't know.
- I am by no means an expert on this, but I think you just need some one to release it into the Pulbic Domain LIke under the GPL or something. Don't take my word for it though.
- BTW, if you know of any pages that are really trully wanted and will take multiple members doing, even if its just editting or spell-checking or looking for bias, I am here to help

- I've done a google image search for golden whistler pictures, and I've found a drawing here by John Gould that is certainly public domain. A photograph is preferred, no doubt, but a drawing is better than nothing. Eugene van der Pijll 08:37, 14 August 2005 (UTC)
- I am not the one that requested the image but I will take initiative (sp?) and add it. If anyone has objections, let me know or just remove it yourself.
