Goldie O'Gilt (or Glittering Goldie) is a fictional character of the Scrooge McDuck universe. She worked as an entertainer in the Black Jack Ballroom in Dawson, Klondike, when Scrooge was a prospector there in the 1890's. . She appeared in both the Uncle Scrooge comic books and in the animated series DuckTales, where she was voiced by Joan Gerber.

She was created and first used by Carl Barks in the album Uncle Scrooge #2, in the story Back to the Klondike in 1953 (it was also the only story that Barks wrote with her in it).

The character was later reused in other artists' work, most notably that of Keno Don Rosa.

Goldie's last name, O'Gilt, was first used by Don Rosa in The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck Part 8.

Her most significant appearances in Rosa's stories were in Last Sled to Dawson, Hearts of the Yukon, King of the Klondike, A Little Something Special and The Prisoner of White Agony Creek. She also appeared in several episodes of Duck Tales including Back to the Klondike (a loose adaptation of her first comic appearance), "Scroogerello", "Til Nephews Do Us Part", and "Ducky Mountain High".

Goldie was a singer in the Blackjack Saloon in Dawson, Yukon Territory, during the great Klondike gold rush. After the gold rush she moved into Scrooge McDuck's old cabin in White Agony Valley. She later returned to Dawson and turned the Blackjack Ballroom into a tourist hotel called the Frostbit Arms.

Many fans of Don Rosa's work believed that there was a relationship between Scrooge and Goldie, a thought that has been aproved by some of his latest stories, like A Little Something Special and the most vivid one The Prisoner of White Agony Creek.

Don Rosa claims to be following Carl Barks' original story and while some believe he does not, it's importand to notice that in 'Back to the Klondike', there are actual small signs of a romance between the two characters.
