The STC Golden Slipper is a horse race for two year old thoroughbred horses held in Sydney, Australia at Rosehill Gardens Racecourse. The Slipper is run over 1200 metres at set weights, it is the premier two year old race in Australia and is the world's richest race for two year old thoroughbreds. It is held on the Saturday before Good Friday in conjunction with a series of races known as the Golden Slipper Carnival. Prize money in 2006 was AUD$3.0 million.
