On New Years Day 2005, the Church of Scientology announced that a new era was being entered, one they call The Golden Age of Knowledge. On L. Ron Hubbard's birthday, March 11, 2005, Scientology leader David Miscavige and the Religious Technology Center held a gala event to further herald the concept and gave a keynote speech which stated in part:

"It is something I guarantee will change your entire view of Scientology, from here to eternity. More than that, it is something from which will spring a level of application, across virtually every aspect of life, beyond anything you’ve dreamed. So when I use that phrase Golden Age it truly does mean: The best and most flourishing age. And what we enter tonight is a new Golden Age of Knowledge!"

Miscavige promised that in the new era, the entire body of LRH materials on Dianetics and Scientology would be made available to the general public and in all languages. Most of it has never been seen before, not even by lifelong Scientologists. Miscavige totaled it as over 3,000 tape-recorded lectures, 8,000 pages of books, 29,000 pages of other printed materials, and all in all, thirty-five million words. From his March 11 speech again:

"This has been in the making for some time because, while the past few years have seen some lectures released on compact disc, it’s factually been very selective and limited. Scientology is an entire body of data. It’s meant to be applied as a cohesive whole — and that’s why it’s time you have all of it. So while all the materials are not yet released, you now — for the first time in history — have the entire body of Congresses, the lectures LRH intended for every Scientologist. Moreover, you can be assured the rest of it will be coming and like a tidal wave."

Main article: L. Ron Hubbard Classic Lectures

The Church offers a subscription service in which you can receive a newly-released Hubbard lecture each month, with new titles being added. Of the over 3,000 recorded lectures, so far only about 40 have been issued at this time.
