Gokor Chivichyan

Gokor Chivichyan (born 1963 in Yerevan, Armenia) is an Armenian-American Judo and mixed martial arts instructor. Gokor currently trains professional and amateur fighters at the Hayastan MMA Academy in North Hollywood, CA.

Gokor retired from professional fighting in 1997. In 1998 Gokor was named by Black Belts Magazine “Judo Instructor of the Year” and received the prestigious “Hall of Fame” spot. Since then he has produced in his school new generation of fighters who have competed in the arena of the UFC, King of the Cage, and all National Judo Championships.
