"Going to Pasalacqua" is a song by the punk rock band Green Day. It was first released in April 1990 on 39/Smooth, and later on 1,039/Smoothed Out Slappy Hours. The song is about a boy throwing away everything in his life for a girl he loves. 'Pasalacqua' comes from the Passalacqua Funeral Home in Benicia, California (note the double 's'). A live version of the track can also be heard on Foot in Mouth, an official live EP, played on September 2nd 1995, Johanneshaov, Stockholm.
