From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Goh Tat Chuan is a Singapore football player. A midfielder, he currently plays for Woodlands Wellington FC and is the longest serving player for the club. He graduated from the Nanyang Technological University and is one of the few players in the Singapore national soccer team to have a degree.
He played in the 2002 and 2004 Tiger Cup. He had a miserable time in 2002 when he was sent off in the second group match against Laos after not featuring in Singapore's 0-4 defeat against Malaysia in the first match. Singapore was subsequently knocked out at the group stage of the tournament.
However, he redeemed himself in 2004 after forming a remarkable partnership in central midfield alongside Hasrin Jailani as Singapore won the tournament.
