Godless is a Puerto Rican black metal band, formed in the winter of 1989 by Lord Asaradel.

Godless is one of the first Puerto Rican black metal bands, predated only by Velyal who formed just two years earlier in 1987. During the 1990s, lots of line-up changes occurred within Godless, and there were many unreleased and official Godless recordings, even though Lord Asaradel was involved in other projects such as Mysterium, Necronomium, Vampiric Dominium, Ustor, etc.

In 2000, Lord Asaradel moved to Pittsburgh, PA to join the band "Lethal Prayer" (an Ex-Acheron/Incantation Session Member band). After a time, he moved back to Puerto Rico.

In late 2004 to early 2005, Godless started recording their last effort, an album entitled "Church Arsonist". This album shows the real essence of what raw black metal with insane shrieking vocals truly is. The band is currently signed by the underground label Rusty Axe Records, and the "Church Arsonist" album was scheduled to be released in the beginning of 2006.
