GOAT Games, a compilation featuring "Games Of All Types" from many of the best independent developers will be released in 2006. It will include online high score submissions and unlockable content.

On July 10, 2006, the developers involved in the compilation were revealed, as well as some of the projects that will be included on the disc.

  • carbon14 has developed a Breakout-inspired game called Bryx. It will support up to two players, and includes some influences from Arkanoid such as enemies and powerups.
  • Atani Software has developed a puzzle game influenced by Bejeweled called Copper Swapper. The game has several differences in play from the game that influenced it, such as the requirement to rotate 4 tiles to create alignments which are then removed.
  • Mariachi Studios has developed a game called Dziokzit. The game is similar in style to some of the minigames in the Wario Ware series. In the game, you must clean all the zits from the main character via a cursor with a cleansing pad so that he can find a girlfriend and eventually settle down and get married.
  • Sam Steele's popular square-collecting game DCSquares will also be included on the compilation.

Demos of the previously published games by The GOAT Store will also be included. These include the dancing game Feet of Fury by Cryptic Allusion, the puzzle game Inhabitants by S+F Software, Maqiupai by JMD, and Cool Herders by Harmlesslion.

Cryptic Allusion is also working on the menu system for the game, and Screamcast's Austin Vashaw is working on the menu graphics.
