This episode starts out with the team inside Rocket, whom is acting like a bucking bronco! Annie introduces herself and points out that she has a cowgirl hat! Annie tells us that they are going to visit her good friend Little Red Train! Quincy says that he can hear Little Red Train coming! Rocket lands and Little Red Train comes up and stops right next to them! Little Red Train is carrying a huge bad with him! The team wonders what’s inside and Annie tries to find out. She looks at the side of the bad and sees a note that says that Little Red Train is taking the bag to Train Junction so all the trains can have a big hoedown! Inside the bag is cake, drinks, games, toys, and violins for the party music! Everything for a hoedown is in that bag! Suddenly the team hears someone coming! It’s the bandit Big Jet! Big Jet flies over Little Red Train and brings out his grab-nabbers, and takes the party bag! Bit Jet flies off with the party bag! The team flies to Rocket to chase down Big Jet and get back the party bag!
BLAST OFF!
The team flies high in the sky, chasing Big Jet! Annie makes up a song and everybody sings along! “The party bag is missing and we’ll all do our best to find the treats and violins that Big Jet took out west! Allegro, quickly go! Don’t be slow don’t be slow just go allegro! Quickly they notice that Little Red Train is going to slow! Little Red Train blows his Allegro whistle and speeds way up, almost faster than Rocket! The team sings their song again and continue pursuing Big Jet! Rocket uses his look-and-listen scope to find Big Jet. With it, they hear the violins from the party bag and find Big Jet! The chase Big Jet around a large pillar and discover that Big Jet is hiding behind the mesas! Big Jet heads toward the Rocket Mountains and through a tunnel. The team and Little Red Train head into the tunnel after Big Jet. There is a long series of more tunnels here and the kids have to find the correct tunnels. The kids do their best to find the paths. After making it through the long series of tunnels, the team catches up with Big Jet.
The team has spooked Big Jet and he flew off in the same direction. Rocket and Little Red Train continue chasing Big Jet to get the party bag. Big Jet flies along the tracks and pulls a track switcher causing Little Red Train to go the wrong way! Little Red Train is headed right for an old log bridge. The bridge is very unstable. The teams tells Little Red Train to go adagio and he safely makes it over the rickety old bridge. They all continue down the path and Big Jet pulled another switch on the track! This one closed the train gates. The team has to wait for the gates to open again. Once they do, Little Red Train blows his Allegro whistle and everybody speeds up to catch up with Big Jet again. Annie points out that some of the tracks go down into the Grand Canyon! Big Jet pulls another track switcher and switches the track to go right into the Grand Canyon. Little Red Train starts going into the canyon and is going really fast down the Canyon. Leo warns him that he needs to go Adagio. Little Red Train slows down and gets ready to go back up the Grand Canyon. The team sees Big Jet at the very top of the canyon. Little Red Train gets ready to blow his Allegro whistle, but June warns him that they have to be very quiet so Big Jet doesn’t see them! Little Red Train blows his whistle very quietly and goes quickly, but quietly, up the Grand Canyon! It seems to steep and it seems like he might not make it. Luckily, Little Red Train has just enough power to get up and out of the Canyon! The team is now right behind the unexpected Big Jet.
The team knows that is they can give Big Jet a good scare than he will most likely drop the party bag! The team gets ready to surprise him. Leo points his baton and the whole team lets out a great big “BOO!” This scares Big Jet and he drops the party bag. Little Red Train than takes the chance to grab the party bag again before Big Jet gets it again! Little Red Train blows his allegro whistle and dashes at the party bag. But Big Jet is dashing at it too! It looks as if they are going to collide! Little Red Train speeds up just enough to beat Big Jet to the party bag! Little Red Train got it! Big Jet flies off in defeat, with a party blower stuck on his nose!
The team continues on Train Junction to get the party bag to the hoedown! Once the arrive, Annie announces that Little Red Train has a big surprise! Little Red Train gives the party bag to the big trains and the party begins! Quincy starts to play the violin and everybody starts dancing! The trains, the team, and Rocket are all dancing!
