[edit] Pradeep Somasundaram and about a cartoonist

I hope Ageo020 is not active out of any spite against Pradeep Somasundaram or you guys. Deciding whether someone is notable is to some extent a personal opinion. Someone that I think is notable may not seem notable to you and viceversa. So WP:AGF :-) I am fairly well-informed in the Malayalam film music before the 1990s. But since I have lived outside Kerala for the last ten years, I could not give a proper opinion during the discussion.

Are you familiar with a cartoonist named S.Jithesh and Chiricheppu ? He has been on a self-advertisement campaign adding himself to such articles as Cartoon and Caricature.

Hey, I guess my actions on Pradip's deletion review were churlish. It was just that the article first was a WP:AUTO and written by a user of the same name. Hence, I had opposed it. Now the article does look good and had this article been there first, I would have given a Keep vote for it. Anyway, sorry if my actions caused you any trouble or a loss of your peace of mind. Let bygones be bygones and move forward. Hope you keep on contributing.

There is a lot to do. The state of old-timers is even worse. Yesudas has a long article while Jayachandran has one that bears no resemblance to an encyclopaedia entry. Others don't have even that. People like K.Raghavan, Dakshinamoorthy and Sreekumaran Thampi don't even have an entry. I guess we should start with stubs and then build on.

Re. the Chiricheppu affair, look at the quality of English written by an "IAS officer" : [1] :-) Tintin (talk) 07:06, 16 August 2006 (UTC)

Yes, I too dont think these people are who they claim to be. I checked up the High Court advocates directory. The Sreekumars listed there dont seem like the sort of people who would waste their time over some silly political satire in chiricheppu.
