Glounthaune (Gleanntán in Irish) is a village situated some 10 km east of Cork city, in County Cork, Ireland.

The village is served by the commuter railway line between Cork and Cóbh. The next station in the Cork direction is Littleisland, while towards Cóbh the next stop is at Fota Island. With the planned reopening in 2008 of the railway line to Midleton, Glounthaune railway station will become the junction between the Cóbh and Midleton lines.

The parish of Glounthaune is the main base for Gaelic games club, Erin's Own, which as well as Glounthaune itself covers the neighbouring areas of Knochraha, Little Island, and Brooklodge. Erins Own won the Cork County final in 2006, defeating Cloyne
