The Glock 33 sub-compact is a pistol manufactured by Glock. It is a Glock 27 Sub-compact modified to fire the .357 SIG ammunition. It uses a modified slide, frame, .357 SIG barrel and magazine but is otherwise nearly identical in appearance to the Glock 27 Sub-compact. It has a 9 rounds magazine capacity, with a legal limit of 10 rounds (in certain jurisdictions), which can be acquired through a magazine extension kit.
Because the .357 SIG is based on a necked-down .40 S&W, magazines designed for a Glock 33 can be filled with .40 S&W rounds and used in a Glock 27; similarly, Glock 27 magazines can be filled with .357 SIG cartridges and used in the Glock 33.
