The Glock 29 is a semi-automatic pistol manufactured by Glock Inc., introduced in 1997. It is a large frame sub compact Glock somewhat bigger than the Glock 26 and fires 10mm Auto ammunition. It is built on the same frame as the Glock 30, which is chambered for .45 Auto (ACP). Because full power 10mm Norma ammunition is powerful, this ultra-compact pistol is rarely encountered. The Glock 29 is mainly being used as a self defense pistol. It has a 10 rounds magazine capacity.
The Glock 29 has a double recoil spring which makes the powerful 10mm load manageable even in such a small pistol.
It operates and holds the same components as a Glock 26 but all parts have been adapted to the 10mm Auto ammunition.
