Globe Handyphone

Globe Handyphone is the main mobile arm of parent company Globe Telecom, providing mobile phone services in the Philippines. At present, Globe Handyphone (of which the name Globe is most commonly used on) is the second-largest service provider in the Philippines, with a subscriber base of 11.7 million subscribers as of December 2004.
Globe Handyphone also complements the more lower- to middle-class Touch Mobile service.

Globe Telecom uses the area codes 906, 915, 916, 917, 926 and 927. The 906 and 926 area codes are shared with Touch Mobile and 915 and 916 were formerly area codes of Islacom until the successful merger of Globe and Islacom.
