[edit] Contradiction
I noticed in the article it says: "a Shock Cannon for use against ground forces" but then goes on to say: "The Shock Cannon can be considered a defensive weapon for the Gleipnir, since it can not reach the ground". How can it be used against ground targets yet not be able to hit the ground? Cbale2000 15:01, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
Sorry, it was supposed to be "..., since it can only reach the ground." Article modified Ace Combat Fanatic 15:16, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
Ok, thanks for clairifying that. Cbale2000 16:34, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] History?
If the player skips Terminus Island and instead defends the ground forces on the mainland, the Gleipnir will instead be engaged and destroyed with full stealth and weapon capabilities at Santa Elva. Someone might want to add that in as a footnote or something. SurgicalStrike 03:59, 14 November 2006 (UTC)
A footnote should be added to ALL ACX related articles to clairify that there are different possible paths and outcomes. Cbale2000 23:23, 14 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] What's in a Name?
I still lack the wikiknowledge of properly listing sources and such, so I haven't added this myself, but the name "Gleipnir" refers to the incredibly strong, slender ribbon which binds the great wolf, and son of Loki, Fenrir, until Ragnarok. Eventually, Fenrir geows big and strong enough to break the binding and devours Odin, but that's getting a bit too in depth. Thought it might be useful for a future trivia section. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Kalthuras (talk • contribs) 08:10, 5 December 2006 (UTC).
