[edit] Politic and Character

Glendale is remarkable for having its own political party, the Glendale Tea Party, which is associated, rightly or wrongly, with the several strip clubs found in the City. Local politics tend to revolve around those who support and those who oppose the Tea Party, and around homeowner's association politics which often overlap with City issues.

It is not unheard of for the city police to go door to door to locate jurors for proceedings of the City's municipal court.

Glendale's fire department has been merged with that of Denver, Colorado through an agreement between the two municipalities.
