Glenbard East High School, or GEHS, and locally referred to as "East," is a public four-year high school located at the corner of Wilson Road and Main Street in Lombard, Illinois, a western suburb of Chicago, Illinois, in the United States. It is part of Glenbard Township High School District 87, which also includes Glenbard North High School, Glenbard South High School, and Glenbard West High School.

Glenbard East was the second of the Glenbard high schools to be built, following Glenbard West. It opened its doors for the 1959-60 school year.

In 2005, Glenbard East had an average composite ACT score of 20.6, with three students receiving 36, and graduated 96.3% of its senior class. Glenbard East has not made Adequate Yearly Progress on the Prairie State Achievements Examination, a state test part of the No Child Left Behind Act.[1]

The staff is comprised of 181 teachers, of which 84% hold an advanced degree.[2] The average class size is 25.5.

Glenbard East is a two-time Grammy Award Winner for Grammy Signature Schools.
