Glazier

Glazier is a construction professional that selects, cuts, installs, replaces, and removes residential, commercial, and artistic glass. There are three classifications of glaizers in the trade:

  1. Journeyman Glazier: works on commercial and industrial glazing jobs.
  2. Apprentice Glazier: An apprentice is in between a journeyman and combo glazier. It takes approximatley 5 years for a apprentice to complete his on-the-job training and schooling. After filing qualifications an apprentice becomes a journeyman. An apprentice can work on both commercial job sites and residential ones.
  3. Combination Glazier: A combo glazier works on specfically residential job sites, usually installing retro-fit (replacement) windows into homes.
