Give Girls a Chance

Give Girls a Chance is a Canadian registered fundraising initiative devoted to the education of women and girls who face obstacles to education. It is a fund of Tides-Canada Foundation and promotes the principles of the United Nations Girls’ Education Initiative. The Chair of the Board of Give Girls a Chance is broadcast journalist Avril Benoit.
It's motto is "Educate a Girl. Change the World."
Monies from Give Girls a Chance support Canadian charities working on wide-ranging projects such as schooling for AIDS orphaned girls Africa to helping teenage mothers in Canada continue their education.
All money is used to educate girls: 50% in Canada and 50% overseas. Established in 2002, GGAC has made the following grants.

- Rights and Democracy - Canadian Women for Women Afghanistan
- Oxfam Canada - for post secondary education in Ethiopia
- Shenpen Fund Canada - for a girl focussed primary school in Tibet
- National Aboriginal Achievement Foundation - Canada
- Jessie's Centre for Teenagers - Toronto, Ontario
- Literature for Life - Toronto, Ontario
- Victoria Society for Educational Alternatives - Victoria, British Columbia
- Children of the Earth High School - Winnipeg, Manitoba
