Gita Jayanti or Gita Jayanthi is the celebration of the anniversary of the sacred Hindu scripture, the Bhagavad Gita. The Bhagavad Gita is a dialogue between Krishna and Arjuna the Pandava Prince just before the battle of the Mahabharata. It was narrated by Veda Vyasa to Ganesha who was the Scribe. It occurs on the 11th day(Ekadasi) of the bright half (Sukla Paksh) of the month Maargshersh (November/December).

In Singapore, Gita Jayanti celebrations are held each year at the Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple on Serangoon Road.
