Well, having looked into this myself, I was surprised. I'd always known them by girlysound, and that's what the first USENET reference (May '94) calls them. Tae Won Yu apparently called them "Girly Sound" when he recommended them via that Chemical Imbalance fanzine, though, and I'm assuming he'd know. The other name is equally valid as a common name, though, so I've cited all four common forms (well, not all the possible combinations!). --Dhartung | Talk 07:56, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
