[edit] Giroro
Giroro is an A-class gun wielder who carries a wide variety of weapons. He is a red Keronian who has a scar on his face (not as a child) and wears a battle belt. He has a short temper caused by the fact that the other members of the Platoon are not very focused on the invasion of Pekopon. Occasionally, his anger drives him into "combat mode," where most of his intelligence is converted into battle power and he only speaks in short sentences. His symbol is a skull which, unlike the other Keronians, is only on his hat and not on his belly. In the past, he was a weak tadpole who got scared very easily. He lives with Keroro, Fuyuki, Natsumi, and Aki. The belt that he wears and the scar on his face are all he has left to remember all his friends who died in a Keron war and it is very priceless to him. He is in love with Natsumi. He also dislikes Keroro's stupid plans and continuously beats him up in a deadly way.
[edit] Seven Personalities
In Episode 89, Giroro is split into seven different bodies, each containing one of Giroro's personality traits.
- Giroppe
- Giroro's dark, war-crazy side. He carries around all manner of weapons, and uses them whenever possible. His helmet and pupils are scarlet, and his skull symbol is white.
- Girorin
- Giroro's easily scared side. Girorin is a crybaby who carries a teddy bear with a helmet. He has a sludge green helmet with a scared-looking white skull symbol. When Giroppe goes on a rampage, Girorin tries to face his fears and defeat Giroppe, only to be defeated by Giroppe with a single attack.
- Girochi
- Giroro's feminine side. She wears a neckerchief on her head and an apron under her belt, and has a happy skull symbol. Girochi is a housewife-type who always wants to look beautiful and tidy up everything.
- Girosama
- Giroro's cheerful side. He wears a purple scarf and has a purple "bishounen" hair style with a smiling violet skull symbol on the side. Girosama wears sunglasses and is always seen smiling and laughing.
- Girokko
- Giroro's poetic side, also female. She wears a black bandana and a bow tie, has dewey eyes and is always writing poems. She enters one of her poems into Mutsumi's radio show, and tries to hear if it won a contest while the group hides from Giroppe. Unfortunately, Giroppe destroys the radio before the winner is revealed.
- Giropon
- Giroro's romantic side. He wears a white tuxedo with a pink bow tie, and has curly blonde hair with a heart shaped pink skull. He always tries to sweet talk Natsumi and give her flowers, and tries to reveal his true feelings just as Mutsumi shows up. The rest of the cast ends up having to restrain him.
[edit] Attacks
- Sniper Rifle: A laser sniper rifle is one of Giroro's many weapons.
- Machine Gun: Giroro commonly uses a machine gun capable of shooting pulse lasers.
- Shotgun: Appears in Keroro Movie in first part in the training.
- Laser Gun: Giroro also has another laser gun that shoots a more powerful, but slower laser.
- Grenades: Giroro holds a wide variaty of grenades.
- Bazooka: Giroro wields a Bazooka.
- Missile Launcher: Giroro wields a missile launcher. It launches homing missles, but appear to be unable to penetrate much substance, as Natsumi blocks this with a bookbag without any noticeable damage to the bag.
- Dagger: Giroro wields a dagger.
- Keroro Platoon's Super Deathblow: An energy ball created by Kururu is transported by Tamama, Giroro, Keroro and finally Dororo will shoot the ball to the enemy. The ball makes the enemy unable to move and explodes shortly after impact. The characters use basketball moves to transport the ball and the whole sequence is a reference to the anime Slam Dunk. Used in Episode 13 only.
- Ninja Art: Locket Mist Tea: A Missile Launcher poweed-up with ninja arts. A homophone of "rocket launcher." Used in Episode 37 only.
- Multi Weapon Attack: Giroro uses projectile weapons strapped to his body at the same time.
- Turbo Stream Attack: Keroro, Tamama, Giroro, and Kururu jump into the air and form a sky dive formation and spins like a drill towards the enemy. Used in episode 41 only and also needs Keroro, Tamama, and Kururu to perform.
- Beam Saber: Giroro wields a Beam Sabers that resembles a Gundam Beam Saber.
- Giroro Charge: The Giroro Mecha fires a massive barrage of missiles. Giroro's strongest attack.
- Mega Bazooka Cannon: During soccer training in episode 42, Giroro brutaly kicks the soccer ball, giving it so much power and speed the ball is inflamed. Used in Episode 42.
- Missle Storm: A massive barrage of giant missles are fired when in his "Super from". Episode 103 only.
[edit] Pekopon Suits
- Humanoid Giroro Suit: A suit that resembles Giroro but in human form. Manga only.
- Festivlal Kiosk Mangager Suit: A suit that is used so Giroro can be the Kiosk Manager of the Japanese Festival.
[edit] Machines
- Wing Pack: Giroro uses a four-winged wing back.
- Giroro Mecha: Giroro uses his mecha as last resort. It's a large ship; the seat resembles Giroro's head and carries two large missle launchers on its top sides which hold a large but limited amount of missles.
[edit] Forms
- Oni-fied Giroro: When used as the test sbject for the "Oni Gun", he started out harmless, but when hearing Natsumi's screams of fear, Giroro appeared with a tiger pelt clothing and is given horns and scarlet pupils, his speed and strength is increased so much, he manages to easily defeat Tamama and even Full Armor Keroro.
- Super Giroro: When cheered on by Keroro to protect Natsumi from the Garuru Platoon, Giroro forms a red sword with his energy that greatly powers his strength and speed. This form gives no alternate appearance to Giroro and is unamed.
- 3-d Giroro: A result of Kururu's "All-purpose modeling Software," Giroro becomes 3-d and has no control over his body.
- 3-d Curvy Giroro: The next step up from 3-d Giroro, this Giroro is tall with a female body, emphasis with an "Alluring chest" and a "Bouncy hip". It also has no control over it's own body, allowing Keroro to make it dance with two large fans.
- Paper-thin Giroro: Another of Kururu's inventions stretches out Giroro and makes him have a female body, but he is as thin as a sheet of paper and easily blows away in the wind.
[edit] Trivia
- Giroro's speaking trait is not a sentence ending, like the other members. Instead, Giroro tends to grunt and gasp more often then the others, making him seem like a dramatic military hero.
- In general, Giroro's weapons are clearly those used by UC-era Mobile Suits, particularly those of the RX-78 Gundam's.
- While Giroro is usually the consummate soldier, he is inordinately afraid of scary stories.
