"Girl in the Mirror" is the fifth and final single from pop singer Britney Spears released from the album Oops!... I Did It Again during the second quarter of 2001 (see 2001 in music).

The song is another of Spears' autobiographical works. It tells of someone who finds herself lonely after a break-up and wants to be able to cheer up. It was written and produced by Max Martin and Rami.

No music video was shot for this song. "Girl in the Mirror" has not been officially remixed, though there is a longer version of the song (4:07), the one that has the dialogue of Spears and two friends before "Dear Diary". Several fan-made remixes have been made, though.

After the sudden flop of "Don't Let Me Be the Last to Know", Jive Records released this song in Asia to bolster the album's sales. It was released only to airplay and therefore did not have commercial sales to aid it on charts. However, it was released as a limited edition CD single in the Philippines, available only in 2001; it may have led to the song being a chart-topper in the Philippines. In other nations such as China, India, Japan and Korea, the single flopped, failing to chart. Until now, it receives regular airplay in the Philippines.
