I uploaded a photo of this park's entrance (including the lovely petrified log!) here: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Image:Ginkgopark.jpg

But canNOT get it to work using the syntax that I got from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Images ... which I interpreted as

Image:Http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Image:Ginkgopark.jpg

What I am doing wrong? I will be happy to re-up-load my photo directly into wikipedia, but I understood wikimedia was preferred. rewinn 05:17, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

All that you need to put is [[Image:Ginkgopark.jpg]] on the page, and the picture from Commons is automatically put on. -Royalguard11(Talk·Desk·Review Me!) 05:21, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
