Ginzu the Ninja

Ginzu the Ninja (Sho in Japan) is a video game character in beat 'em up Captain Commando.

His true origins are in mystery, though he was born in Tokyo in the year 1998, and is 28 years of age.
He fights with the art of ninjitsu in the Commandos Team with the codename of Ninja Commando. His weapon is a ninja sword that he carries on his belt inside a sheath. His special move is a smoke bomb attack that somehow affect enemies that are near him.
He was one of the four members of the Commandos responsible for defeating genetic terrorist Genocide (Scumocide in the US and World versions), a sort of alien leader from the star system of Callisto.

- Though he was obscure for some time like Captain Commando and the rest of his teammates, he appeared again in the SNK vs. Capcom: Card Fighters Clash and SNK vs. Capcom: Card Fighters 2 Expand Edition for the Neo-Geo Pocket handheld and he recently appeared in the Marvel vs. Capcom series as a helper character when Captain Commando executes his Captain Storm and Captain Sword techniques.
- In Namco x Capcom, he teams up with fellow ninja Guy from the Final Fight series.
- Ginzu is a master of Bushinryu ninjitsu.
- Ginzu was named after a kitchen knife brand, Ginsu.
- His seiyuu in Namco x Capcom is Hideyuki Hori. He has previously been involved in anime shows such as GetBackers, Gundam SEED and recently in Gundam SEED Destiny.
