Gilberto Dimenstein

Gilberto Dimenstein, a senior Brazilian journalist, was born in city of São Paulo in 1956. He started his career at Shalon, a magazine dedicated to the Jewish community. Subsequently, he worked as a political correspondent for O Globo, Veja, Journal do Brasil and Correio Brasiliense. He is currently the main political writer for Folha de S. Paulo, one of the most important Brazilian newspaper. Apart from politics, Dimenstein has an interest in children’s rights and has written many books on this subject.
