Gilat Satellite Networks is a publicly traded company (NASDAQ: GILT. TASE) Gilat designs, develops and markets satellite and hybrid networking products, services and solutions to operators in 85 countries. Gilat solutions address enterprise, government, carrier and consumer markets around the globe. It also provides end-to-end solutions, turn-key projects, managed network services and network outsourcing. Gilat Satellite Networks is organized into three business units:
- Gilat Network Systems provides satellite networks and professional services, including turnkey solutions and outsourcing, to operators worldwide.
- Spacenet provides managed VSAT and hybrid network services for business, government and residential customers in North America.
- Spacenet Rural Communications provides rural Internet and telephony services primarily in Latin America.
