Gil Troy

Gil Troy is an American academic. He received his undergraduate, graduate and doctoral degrees from Harvard University, and is a professor of History at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. He is the author of five books, including four on American history: See How They Ran: The Changing Role of the Presidential Candidate, Mr. and Mrs. President: From the Trumans to the Clintons, Morning in America: How Ronald Reagan Invented the 1980's, Hillary Clinton: Polarizing First Lady, as well as Why I Am a Zionist: Israel, Jewish Identity, and the Challenges of Today. He regularly contributes articles to a variety of publications and often appears as a historical and political commentator and analyst.
