Gil Aldema

Born in Tel Aviv in 1928. Graduated from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and from Mannes College of Music, New York (Artist's Diploma). Teacher and conductor; for some years instructor at Hadassim Youth Village, later program producer nad arranger for "Kol-Israel", Israel Broadcasting Authority. Composed and arranged songs for folk-ensembles and choirs. In 2004 he was awarded the prestigious Israel Prize.
