[edit] Plot for Gift Hoarse
It's Arbor Day: Christmas for Beavers everywhere. The beavers have received their gifts from their parents. Norb has been given a cool giant train set, and Dag gets just a pine tree air freshener. Dag becomes jealous and makes attempts to destroy Norb's new attraction. After Dag finally destroys Norb's gift, Dag gives him the pine tree air freshener, but the mailman comes back with the rest of Dag's gift, which turns out to be a giant monster truck. And since Dag gave Norb his gift, the pine tree and the truck now belong to him.

The Beavers are playing. They are a football team, and Dag and Norb are there to cheer them on. However, the visitors (that's literally the opposing team's name) are winning, and Dag gets angry over it. He gets himself involved in the game, and eventually, along with Norbert too, try to get their team back on the winning map.

- During the show's 2nd season, Nickelodeon ran an Arbor Day campaign which featured The Angry Beavers. It was the only time Nickelodeon did any sort of husbandry solely featuring characters from this show.
- Gift Hoarse marks the first time Dag is seen in his Muscular Beaver costume. Interestingly enough, when Norb sees the costume here, he seems quite taken by it, but in later episodes, he is disgusted by it.
- Gift Hoarse is the first episode where, the characters have thought-balloon sequences featuring themselves drawn in scribbles with a Crayola type coloring.
- There really is a football team known as The Beavers. They're the team for Oregon State University.
- Somgs played throughout "Go Beavers" are Daring Young Man on His Flying Trapeze, London Bridge, Can-Can, Taps, and Take Me Out to the Ballgame.
