Gideon Meir

Gideon Meir is the current Israeli ambassador to Italy (appointed July, 2006).
He was Deputy Director-General for media and public affairs in the Israeli Foreign Ministry up to November, 2006, and previously Minister Plenipotentiary (DCM-Deputy Chief of Mission) at the Israeli embassy in London.
