Look closely at the picture and you can see where I live ...
My native language is English - other languages include RPG II, Pascal, and Perl.
I like Spanish food, people and the country, but not its Government as in respect of Gibraltar they seem to hold different views to mine. It seems some of the natives are restless too:
It's so boring to fight with obsessed and unfair people like Gibnews

He who persists wins; in 1994 I helped start the campaign to get the right to vote in EU elections it took ten years, for a NO vote in the 2002 referendum, and in 2004 for the Conservatives.
On the 12th July 2002 the Foreign Secretary, Jack Straw, in a formal statement in the House of Commons, said that after twelve months of negotiation the British Government and Spain are in broad agreement on many of the principles that should underpin a lasting settlement of Spain's sovereignty claim, which included the principle that Britain and Spain should share sovereignty over Gibraltar.
Do you approve of the principle that Britain and Spain should share sovereignty over Gibraltar?
Like the vast majority of Gibraltarians I did not agree.
However, it was a different story in the 2006 referendum on the new constitution where I supported the campaign to approve this, with the slogan
Vote YES for progress !
People did.
The question this time was :
In exercise of your right to self-determination, do you approve and accept the proposed new Constitution for Gibraltar?
