[edit] Vaticinia Nostradami
Giancarlo, I imaging you might remember me from the Nostradamus talk page (the spinoffs were quite good by the way). I'm looking at the Vaticinia Nostradami (yes, the title needs to be changed) but I'm having some difficulty understanding some of the passages. However, since I can read both Spanish and Italian (the former is the easier of the two for me), I'm using those pages to edit the English version. I'm not going to add anything, I'm just going to get it into good English. Just thought I'd let you know. Jim62sch 13:31, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
- OKI ! (Wikipedia pages are like sons, You made them, you raised them, but someday they go away, and we hope they don't go very far!) --Giancarlo Rossi 22:10, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
Giancarlo: as the main Nostradamus article and 'Nostradamus in popular culture' have now been footnoted, would you care to do the same with Vaticinia? --PL 16:48, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Lando-Buzzanca.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Lando-Buzzanca.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator.
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you have questions about copyright tagging of images, post on Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags or User talk:Carnildo/images. 16:13, 23 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Wikipedia_talk:Censorship
A watered-down version of the proposed policy against censorship is now open for voting. Will you kindly review the policy and make your opinions known? Thank you very much. Loom91 13:03, 5 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Venezuelan Coat of Arms image
Hi Giancarlo, I'm working on changing PNG images to their SVG counterparts, and the Venezuelan Coat of Arms image in the userbox on your user page is the PNG. The SVG has a clear background, and consequently looks awful if the two images are simply swapped. I also tried changing the background on the image part to white, but that looked fairly awful as well. Can you make the change so it looks OK to you, so we can clean up the old image? Thanks, — Wwagner 23:05, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
