Giacobbe Cervetto

Giacobbe Cervetto (1682-1783) was a cellist.
Cervetto's real name was Basevi. An Italian-born Jew, he moved to London in 1739 and was a leading musical figure there for decades. His son, James Cervetto, was also a noted cellist.
