[edit] Gwichʼin

Please do not copy and paste redirects as you did for Gwichʼin language. The spelling with the "funky apostrophe" (MODIFIER LETTER APOSTROPHE as opposed to RIGHT SINGLE QUOTATION MARK or APOSTROPHE) is the correct spelling, and the other forms redirect to it. Evertype 08:39, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

My apologies -- I hadn't yet read the Talk:Gwich'in discussion when I made those changes. I've now posted to that thread with my comments. I really think we will introduce huge inconsistency problems if we start using the U+2019 character. Another possible compromise which I didn't yet post to the thread is to have a Gwich'in page with the U+2019 character and a Gwich'in language page without (with appropirate redirects and explanation). What do you think? Also, can you provide a source for the "correct" spelling? --Gholton 15:57, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
