President of the Spinzar Cotton Company. Founded the Nasher Gallery and the Nasher Library. Under him, Kunduz became the richest Afghan province. He was an avid hunter, art collector and philantropist. Jailed after Prince Daoud's coup because of a personal feud. Then in exile in the United Kingdom and Germany. Died in Germany in 1982. Cousin of Gholam Nabi Nasher, uncle of Farhad Darya.
