[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Ethnic albania.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Ethnic albania.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}. If you have not already done so, please also include the source of the image. In many cases this will be the website where you found it.

Please specify the copyright information and source on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, or ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Peter O. (Talk) 15:39, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Please do not remove

...links without explaination. It is considered vandalism. You removed the link to the Constitution of Montenegro. --PaxEquilibrium 22:35, 21 October 2006 (UTC)

Ahm - that is the current Constitution of Montenegro. There's no new one. --PaxEquilibrium 12:14, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
Constitutionally, the Serbo-Croatian language is the official language of the Republic of Serbia, it is one of the six constituent Republics of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and it has an autonomous province in the south called "Kosovo and Metohija" (where the Serbo-Croat is one of the two official languages); Serbia's national symbols are a traditional serbian tricolour red-blue-white flag and the old royal coat-of-arms of the House of Obrenovic (without the crown). Its northern Autonomous Province of Vojvodina has very little authority (and Serbo-Croat is one of the official languages). The international borders are also different, as Serbia has some Croatian territory at the Danube's pockets, while Croatia has some of Serbia's - contrary to the constitution; a similiar thing was towards the border with Bosnia at Drina.
The Republic of Montenegro is constitutionally one of the two constituent republics of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia; its national symbols are the traditional serbian tricolor red-blue-white flag and coat-of-arms is a serbian national symbol - the Njegos mausoleum at Lovcen surrounded by the serbian tricolours, based on the communist coat-of-arms (but without the red star). Montenegro also has a strip of Croatian territory at Prevlaka, despite not having it constitutionally.
Do you see why the new constitutions are needed urgently; beside these things the Montenegrin there are numerious backlabs, such as no guarrantees for national minority rights in Serbia, etc...? --PaxEquilibrium 18:54, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

What do you mean by "mistakes"? --PaxEquilibrium 19:45, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

Where does it do that??? --PaxEquilibrium 20:16, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

Well, how that be claiming other countries' lands? The Constitution was brought in 1990, and still, this is presence; not future. The Constitutions are heavily outdated, but that doesn't mean that they're bad. --PaxEquilibrium 21:11, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

Is the figure really 1,000,000? I think that it's larger, considering that 400,000 Serbs alone left. Good news for you: Well, the new Constitution will be adopted next week!!! It redefines Serbia as the state of the Serb People and its citizens; it now has minority rights and mentions Kos-Met in a different preambule, to incinuate that its status is unresolved (although noting that it's still officially a part of it). It also adopts new state symbols (flag & coat-of-arms) and Serbian language as official, defining the status of Vojvodina as well. I think this is a big step. No? --PaxEquilibrium 21:38, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Mehmet Akif College.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Mehmet Akif College.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. - CrazyRussian talk/email 12:28, 29 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Beslidhja Skaut Albania

Beslidhja Skaut Albania has been proposed for renaming (along with other foreign-language Scouting article titles) to bring it into compliance with the spirit of both WikiProject Scouting - Rules Standards, Article names and Wikipedia:Naming conventions.

The discussion about this is currently taking place at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Scouting/Translations#Proposed_article_name_changes. No one involved speaks Albanian. Since you speak Albanian, could you please help out? --evrik (talk) 15:38, 8 November 2006 (UTC)

  • Thanks for your comments. I moved them to this page. --evrik (talk) 19:35, 8 November 2006 (UTC)

—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Petrit Augustini (talkcontribs) 21:52, 10 November 2006.

[edit] Unspecified source for Image:Albanian Vilayets of Ottoman Empire.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Albanian Vilayets of Ottoman Empire.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be a justification explaining why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Jkelly 23:51, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
