Gete

The Gete (French : Jauche) is a river in Belgium which flows south to north .
It consists of the Small Gete and the Large Gete, which join together near Budingen. Then the river continues for a further 12 km to the city of Halen, where it flows into the Demer.
In history, the river has always been the border between the Prince-Bishopric of Liège and the Duchy of Brabant.
The source of the Large Gete is situated in the village of Perwez. The length of the river to Budingen is 51 km. The river flows through Jodoigne, Hoegaarden and Tienen.
The source of the Small Gete is situated in the village of Ramillies . It flows through Zoutleeuw.
