"Get Me Outta Here" is the fifth single (in the UK) by the Australian rock band Jet, from their 2003 album Get Born. It was released in 2004.
Get Me Outta Here, is a country influenced rock song that features Jet's usual band lineup using their modern rock guitar riffs to give a smooth rock'n'roll feel to create their own stlye of music that is easily distinguished from other bands.
The song starts with a strong, solid guitar riff then breaks out with the drum beat and bass guitar. At roughly 20 seconds into the song, Nick Cester Kicks in with his strong Vocals.
The words seem to pose that that Nick Cester wants to get his money out of his bank so he can start a new life in LA and kick back and drink a some beers.
