Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI), lit. German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence, is an important research center in Saarbrücken and Kaiserslautern.
DFKI is a focussed on novel software technology based on AI. It conducts comissiond research in virtually all fields of modern AI.
Companies like Microsoft, SAP and DaimlerChrysler are major shareholders.
DFKI researches about the 100% Safe Car.
