German 110th Infantry Division

The 110th Infantry division was formed in April 1940 in Lüneburg, Germany under the 11. Armee. It spent the entire war on the Eastern Front and had, by the end of the war, 9 Knight's Cross holders, four of which were awarded in November 1943.
