Gered Mankowitz

Gered Mankowitz (born August 3, 1946) is a leading British photographer of the rock music scene over the last 40 years. Some of his portraits of rock artists, such as The Rolling Stones and Jimi Hendrix, are now part of the permanent collection of the National Portrait Gallery, a prestigious British art institution.

Gered's father was the late author and screenwriter Wolf Mankowitz.
