In Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, Geraldine Julienne (mentioned as G in the V.F.D. meeting transcripts in Lemony Snicket: The Unauthorized Autobiography) is a star reporter for The Daily Punctilio and is the person who locked her editor, Eleanora Poe (Mr Poe's sister), in a basement, and may have been responsible for telling Mr Poe to ignore all telegrams sent to him (the reason why Mr Poe never answered the Baudelaire's telegram in The Hostile Hospital, although Eleanora herself could have suggested this in a misguided article prior to her imprisonment). She is also responsible for the general public believing that the Baudelaires murdered "Count Omar", who, in reality, was Jacques Snicket, due to her untrue article in the Daily Punctilio. (See The Vile Village for more details.)
She has recently become one of Esmé Squalor's sycophants, and has a habit of imagining headlines and exclaiming, "Wait until the readers of the Daily Punctilio see that/this!" In terms of behaviour, she is similar to Harry Potter's Rita Skeeter. It is unknown whether she escaped the fire at Hotel Denouement in The Penultimate Peril, but she has not encountered the Baudelaires again.
