Gerald Starr

Gerald P. Starr is an American politician from Glen Burnie, Maryland. He has been a perennial Republican candidate for various offices, including the Anne Arundel County Council and the Maryland House of Delegates

In 1968, Starr was the American Party Candidate for the United States Senate in Maryland.

He has been a member of the Anne Arundel County Republican Central Committee since 1991. Starr is considering a run for the Maryland House of Delegates in District 32 in 2006. In 2003, Starr had his son, David Starr interview for appointment to the vacant Disctrict 32 seat, in which Terry Gilelland was ultimately appointed by Governor Ehrlich. Starr's son may also be a candidate for the District 32 seat in the 2006 elections.
