Gerald Rothberg is an American scientist.

He earned a Ph.D. in 1959 from Columbia University. Rothberg's research interests include ultrathin magnetic films and the geometry of molecular interactions on surfaces.

He is currently working at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey.
