Gerald Moverley

The Rt. Rev. Gerald Moverly J.C.D. (April 9th 1922 - December 14th 1996) was the first Bishop of the new diocese of Hallam in South Yorkshire from May 30th 1980 until July 1996 when he resigned through ill health. He died later that year and was Succeeded by The Rt. Rev. John Rawsthorne on July 3rd 1997.
