Don't copy the Britannica that carefully. "NAME" Singer??? Samuel Singer seems suggested by a bit of searching, Samuel Weller Singer, a 19th-century Shakespeare editor. But I'm not sure. It's possible, but unless and until sure, best to leave such a garbled sentence wholly out. It's already copied by all the Wikipedia-clones around the world. Typical. I mean, yes, there are places where someone named "Name Singer" would exist, but Name would be lowercase... Schissel | Sound the Note! 19:50, 24 July 2006 (UTC)
