George Croghan's Otsego land patents from the original drawn c.1790 by Simeon DeWitt Esq. Surveyor General &c. State of New York.

  • The river on the left (west) side of the map is the Unadilla, labeled the Tianaderha River on the map.
  • The river in the northeast corner of the map is the Mohawk.
  • The river flowing south out of Otsego Lake (labeled Oaks Creek on the map) is actually the Susquehanna River.

The credit for the map reads:
